Operating Models
Service module
Leveraging the potential of technology to create organisational efficiencies and improve value.
An effective operating model is the bridge between strategy and execution. We help organisations design, implement, and optimise operating models that enable agility, scalability, and sustainable success in rapidly changing conditions.
How we do it
We have extensive experience assessing and developing tailored ICT operating models that are fit for purpose.
We typically see five different operating models:
- Siloed – functional or business unit focus with significant duplication and fragmented governance.
- Product centric – focus on highly collaborative and cross-functional capabilities enabling products and features.
- Bi-modal – aligned and responsive to business needs via two modes of operation focused on stability and speed.
- Pace layered – aligned and responsive to business needs based on the alignment to three classes of systems differentiated by pace and value.
- Service management – blended centralised and de-centralised operations with some central accountability and management.
We don’t do cookie-cutter. We design unique and tailored operating models to suit our customers’ specific needs and challenges.
