Austroads leads the development and maintenance of the Data Standard for Road Management and Investment across Australia and New Zealand. To accelerate adoption of the standard and unlock greater value from fragmented road asset data, Austroads required a scalable platform that could bring data from participating jurisdictions into a single reporting and analytics environment.

Austroads represents transport agencies across Australia and New Zealand and supports members with practical advice, tools and services that improve mobility outcomes.
A key priority was operationalising the Data Standard for Road Management and Investment, designed to harmonise road asset data across local government, state agencies, suppliers and software providers.
However, road asset data remained fragmented across systems and jurisdictions, limiting the ability to:
